Spring Pop-up Shop (2016.1.29-5.8)

The brand activity “Pop-up Shop” of Macao Fashion Gallery (MFG), which exhibits and sells original design fashions of local designers to enhance business opportunities for them, and provides more channels for the multi-faceted sales exhibitions of the local original design fashions. As spring is around the corner, MFG will organize the “Spring Pop-up Shop” event again on the occasion when fashion trend followers, both men and women, would add some new classics to their wardrobes. Five brands will come to the event, including:

 

“AUROLO ARTE”, features a perfect combination of art and splendor, designing trendy and unique clothes. Haute couture production methods have been employed in every detail. The colors of the couture show a beautiful evolution and illusion from black to multicolor, just like the aurora dancing beautifully in the dark night.

 

“ella épeler”is a women fashion label, the aim of “ella épeler”is to keep our heart innocent, paint our future with creative dream irrespective of age, and seek for quality lifestyle, try to have courage in many aspects. Thus, the design theme of“ella épeler”is using unique design illustrations mix with irregular youthful tailoring, and mix the different elements together.

 

“JADE. L”, is closely related to life attitude. It pursues unique personality and interprets unisex in a low-profile way. “JADE. L” brings personality into daily routines, creating a local unisex fashion brand in Macao. By focusing on the texture of the couture and paying attention to details, it integrates characteristics into every design and thus adding a unique glamour to the low profile life.

 

“MACON”, founded in 2013. It is the first Macanese original brand to launch on the T-Mall, an online integrated shopping platform. The design style of MACON centers on “slow life, light trip”, with its products having comfort and simplicity as their main tone to create the senses of unisex and literal arts youth.

 

“POURQUOI” means “why” in French and the design idea of this brand is an unanswered question mark. The clothes, which are full of creative, amusing and interesting designs, bring people never failed surprises like a child has.

Winter Pop-up Shop (2015.9.1-2016.1.3)

The brand activity “Pop-up Store” of Macao Fashion Gallery (MFG) aims to create more trading opportunities for local fashion designers and promote local original fashion to expand sales channels for products. The five local brands joining the “Winter Pop-up Store” are as follows:

Based in Macau, China and Lisbon, Portugal, LINES LAB is committed in full to the equation of objects, people and events. Headed by two Portuguese designers, the designs of LINES LAB are the unique synthesis of creation and risk.

 

“MACON”, founded in 2013. It is the first Macanese original brand to launch on the T-Mall, an online integrated shopping platform. “NEGA.C”,is fashionable and cool, as its designer has the wildest dreams of the world. NEGA.C has sought great inspirations from street cultures, i.e. music, architectures, art and fashion; its creation is styled like a cute and mischievous girl. By presenting design elements and popular information in different forms, it is hoping to blend creativity into every day’s life and to experience creativity with sensibility.

Summer Pop-up Shop (2015.5.12 – 8.30)

The brand activity “Pop-up Store” of Macao Fashion Gallery (MFG) aims to enhance business opportunities for local fashion designers and to promote local original fashion by increasing the sales channels of the products. Four local brands are joining the event including: DARE TO DREAM, LINES LAB, MACON and ZICS.

 

‘DARE TO DREAM’, is renowned for its creative and unique  casual wear. The women’s lines under this brand are characterized with romantic, cute, trendy, cool and adventurous themes. The brand is using handpicked fabrics and stitches as well as practicing unique dyeing and washing techniques in garment manufacturing

Spring Pop-up Shop (2015.2.13 – 5.10)

“Pop Up Shop” is a branding activity, which is organised by Macao Fashion Gallery (MFG). This is a platform to boost Macao designers’ talent to scale their business and enable the customers getting to know about the Macao Labels.MFG has been hunting for original fashion and accessories items designed by Macao local designers unceasingly. “Spring Pop Up Shop” event is launching the new lines and the four participants for this season include “Design by Karus Lei”, “POURQUOI”, “ZICS” & “Anonymous”. Refreshment and replenishment time for both male and female fashionistas.

 

“Anonymous” brand design style is concise; attend to details and exquisite, which sheds the qualities of low-profile, energy, staunchness and femininity. It also possesses with a sense of  independence and uniqueness of beauty, which shows the downtown pretty temperament.

 

“Design by Karus Lei” brand established in 2011. It’s selling custom-made high-end evening gown, which inspired by fashion & life-style trends and details, in order to resonating with the modern ladies. The directional design is with a strong focus on curvaceous, maturity and mysterious.

 

“POURQUOI” means “why” in French. The design concept is answering the questions for. Innovative, playful and meaningful design, just like a cheerful child wandering around the playground.

 

“ZICS” brand established in 2009. The design is experimenting among black, grey and white, by finding the level of layering and asymmetry. This is a boyfriend smart style collection, and has once exhibited at Macau Fashion Festival and Hong Kong Fashion Week. It is expanding to different fashion area, such as theatrical costumes and accessories.

Winter Pop-Up Shop (2014.9.16 – 12.31)

To further develop the fashion design industry in Macao and, Macao Fashion Gallery sets up a pop up store for a limited period to sell local designs over the summer in 2014. Its aim is to open up commercial opportunities for local fashion designers and different distribution channels for their original designs. This time around, the pop up store is adopting the theme of autumn and winter with four local brands participating.

 

The brand “Anonymous”, its design being simple and neat, is determined in maintaining and balancing great quality in every details on their designs. The brand sells a low-profile, energetic, strong yet sweet femininity; this unique beautifulness is like a little wandering around the city.

 

The brand ‘DARE TO DREAM’, fittingly, is renowned for its creative and characteristic casual fashion, using handpicked fabrics and stitches as well as practicing unique dyeing and washing techniques in garment manufacturing. The women’s lines under this brand are characterized with romantic, cute, trendy, cool and adventurous themes.

 

L.A.C.Y. Boutique’s has 20 years of experiences in fashion design and manufacture; L.A.C.Y. Boutique’s business area includes bridal wear, ball gown, uniform and more. Throughout the years L.A.C.Y. Boutique have been working with local fashion designers and artists, lately L.A.C.Y. Boutique have started producing their own bridal and ball gown labels, together they are working hand in hand to promote the local creative scene. L.A.C.Y. Boutiquealso provide all kinds of design, tailoring and manufacture services; from jean amendment, to tailor made items and mass-produced products.

 

The brand ‘ZICS’ was established in 2009. The designer, in a black-and-white world, discovered and experimented with fashion themes to create unisex clothing collections and to explore the possibilities of asymmetry and layers. The collections was exhibited in Macau Fashion Festival, Hong Kong Fashion Festival, and so on. ‘ZICS’ also attempts to create in other fashion areas including theatrical costumes and accessories.
