Clara Brito, was born in Lisbon, Portugal. She holds a Graduate Degree in Equipment Design by the Lisbon School of Fine Arts (2003)

She furthered her studies of Fashion and Design at the Milan Polytechnic Institute/School of Architecture and Design(under the Erasmus Program). Clara Brito developed individual projects that deserved the highest distinctions, and was subsequently invited by Prof. and Designer Rafaella Mangiarotti to show her work at the Deep Design studio.

 

In Lisbon she has developed projects in interior, equipment and fashion design, awarded by Prof. and Designer Ron Arad, which won her a place at the Salone of the Milan Design Biennale.Clara Brito has shown her pieces at several venues in Portugal, among which the piece“Enrola”at Lidija Kolovrat’s‘Pedro e O Lobo ‘Gallery.She participated in the 5th Fashion “Humen Cup “International Youth Design Contest (Women’s Wear) and received the honorable mention awarded by Li Dong Qi, the vice-president of the Association of Chinese Fashion Designers.

 

The designer created and coordinated the workshop‘ Mira Ó Vestido ’included in the exhibition ‘Blue Fascination ’at the Macau Art Museum. In 2006, Clara Brito established the brand/laboratory Lines Lab together with designer Manuel CS. Lines Lab is a creative agency on the global Lusophone Top 20 ranking by Monocle Magazine & A Must See according to the new York Times. Based in Macau | China and Lisbon | Portugal, Lines Lab is committed in full to the equation of objects, people and events.
