ANIFA is an activewear fashion label. Fashion has always been influenced by scientific discoveries. The discovery of synthetic fibres like polyester and nylon changed the whole concept of fashion, leading up to today’s modern activewear phenomenon.

ANIFA will be the first to embrace the latest changes. We can already foresee future clothing which will be designed by AI machines, produced by 3D printing, and delivered to your doorstep by autonomous drones. We can also foresee the future lifestyle of globetrotting entrepreneurs and creative workers who demand the most versatile, smart and comfortable activewear clothing that blurs the boundaries of traditional fashion categories. ANIFA is more than clothing. It is an experiment in futuristic lifestyles.

C/W COLLECTIVE is an independent fashion brand in Macao. Adopting an avant-garde and deconstructive design style, it uses a mixture of different fabrics to produce unique and diverse garments with multiple ways to wear.

Demi originated from the ancient Greek language, meaning digestion, enjoyment, maturity and independence. The brand logo adopts the simple pattern of sunflowers in its design, which are also a sideline of the brand. Sunflowers denote silent love, positivity, and the courage to pursue the life one wants to live. The designer believes that sunflowers are a symbol of power, hoping to bring women a positive attitude. In addition, sunflowers can also demonstrate the designer’s inner changes, who strives to lead a life she longs for. The designer expects to encourage women through the brand to have a strong will, bravely face their future lives, and actively rise up to various challenges.

Prioritizing simplicity, the Made-in-Macao products seem to have an ordinary design, but it is a design that makes you extraordinary. The products are comfortable yet affordable, creating new values for the fashion industry.

Far removed from fashion, Loom focuses more on the emotional and poetic quality of its garments. It hopes to present designs that are within the aesthetic constraints yet can make people always feel they are ahead of the times. With the lines, the silhouettes, the cuts, the texture and colour of the fabric, each stage of garment production resembles a conversation and an epitome.

The brand originated in the pursuit of design outline and life quality. Adopting “you are what you wear” as the philosophy, the brand wishes to convey the message of stepping out of stereotypes and false notions of the brand to showcase your own fashion sense and style.

Brand：The fashion label was established in 2011. In the beginning, the label focused on designing theatre costumes and shoes. In 2012, their first women’s wear boutique opened in Macao. Later, they expanded their lines to cover ready-to-wear women’s clothes.

“The life you love, the love you live” has always been the design principle of Nega C. The label loves life, creating fashion for active women, unrestrained by age. Living a leisurely life is their main concept, fusing with street culture, music, and art to create a style that is cute, naughty, and hip.

Designer：Isabella Choi

Isabella Choi developed a strong interest for fashion design at a very young age and is always thirsty for design knowledge. At the age of 15, Isabella made a decision of furthering her studies in UK. In 2010, she graduated from the undergraduate programme in Fashion Design at the Kingston University, London. With her passion for fashion, she established her own fashion brand, Nega C. in Macao, hoping to incorporate creativity into daily life, and understanding it with right attitude.

SARA LOLO is a romantic fashion label that centres around Macao’s role as a fashion, tourism and leisure centre, and manifests the beauty of feminine silhouette and the elegance of contemporary women. Infused with the delicate details of the designs, the fashion label’s romanticism brings out each woman’s beauty and charm.

The name of Work.in.process.mo consists of “Work-in-process” and “mode”, which carries the meaning of “the state in progress”. In the designer’s eyes, the world is always in motion and everything changes every passing second. Therefore, there is no such thing as an eternal truth.

Established in Macao in 2013, the accessory brand is underpinned by the philosophy of adding colours, creativity and fun, and offers original hand-painted accessories made of materials collected from various regions.

Earlylink is an original design label founded in Macao.

“Early” is its design concept and “Ink” symbolizes a medium that combines culture and creativity, an original medium that produces inimitable works.The label pursues creative freedom, using innovative materials to create practical yet elegant items featuring refined and balanced texture. The brand features 100% handmade jewelry that revolves around the themes of happiness and nature. Flowers have different connotations in their names. The design concept of the jewelry comes from the felicity and happiness brought by flowers.

Gato handmade accessories include bracelets, earrings and rings, mainly retro and simple in style. They are made of brass, which will take on a matt colour after air oxidation and radiate vintage chic. The accessories are made of brass inlaid with various natural gemstones or ethnic beads. Each item features unique imperfection.

Ghettolo, an independent brand in Macao, expresses the designer’s view of life and aims to bring happiness to surrounding people. The handmade beaded earrings are uniquely crafted by hand with a string of beads. They are characterised by their light weight, not causing too much burden on ears. There are also different colours to choose from.

Lexx Moda has been recognized by large well-known companies and cooperated with them.Showcasing its best-selling brand series has added charming vitality to the brand.

The brand insists on its own designs, which incorporate elements inspired by such local culture as handicrafts and designs from various countries and regions that its designers encounter during their trips. In order to maintain distinguished personal style, the designers boldly incorporate other design elements into the work so that the shoes not only display a beautiful look but also have a practical function. Designers：SANJO IONG

SANJO IONG, an independent women’s shoe designer, founded the brand Lexx Moda in the small town of Northampton, Britain in 2002.

Initially, SANJO IONG participated in exhibitions all over Europe through which she accumulated experience and expanded sales outside Britain. In 2003, she established a company in Macau and concentrated her focus on women’s shoes. Casual and personalized slippers or flats are products that highlight SANJO IONG’s style. She incorporates new colors and materials to keep integrating elements inspired from all over the world. She strives to show her passion for shoes and insure the best experience.

The word “two” in Cantonese has a homophone that means “exceptional”. The brand “no.2 create” can therefore be interpreted as “exceptional creation”, where the creators stick to the creative mindset of “Create More”. They draw their inspiration from life and subject matter from the surroundings, going beyond any specific themes and featuring diverse creations and designs in their works.

“Porarbo” comes from “pArbo” in Esperanto of “Foiree”. Trees are a symbol of life, the source of vitality. Established in 2022, Porarbo seeks to extend the charm of life through the brand and showcase different kinds of beauty through fashion.

U.sandersonii, short for utricularia sandersonii, is a plant with such great adaptability that it can survive in environments from the edge of a rock to a pond. Utricularia sandersonii has a long flowering period and features flowers resembling a herd of dancing rabbits. The brand hopes to spread its jewelry products throughout Macao like the utricularia sandersonii.

The brand was founded in June 2021 by a girl who passionately loves accessories. She wants to add a little touch to her daily outfit and has therefore created various types of accessories. Now she has decided to share these unique and heartwarming handicrafts with you all.

Established in 2020, the brand covers an array of products including essential oils, diffuser ornaments, diffuser pendants, diffuser accessories, as well as diatomaceous earth lifestyle products. Fine Form hopes to reserve these delights for you to brighten up your days.

“S&E Handmade” was founded by Macao handicraft artist Erica Leong in 2017. The label mainly creates handmade homeware and fashion accessories. The label’s feature items are made with polymer clay, a material popular in Europe for more than 80 years. The creative concept of the label is continuous learning, using the distinctive advantages of the east-meet-west culture of Macao to constantly innovate, striving to create one-and-only handmade items for every customer.

The accessories are mainly made with techniques such as wire wrapping, resin flower making, and beading. Every piece of work is 100% handmade and therefore is unique on its own. There is probably only one piece of its kind in the world.

Using diversified fabrics and Japanese-style patchwork, most of the works are cloth bags, though retro bags with gold embroidery, wallets and personalised workbags are also available. From them one can feel both modern elements with unique traditional styles and a simple and unadorned spirit of hipsters, which makes it easier to go with different apparel and accessories.

Founded in late 2018, the brand creates handmade products featuring Japanese minimalism. It hopes to inspire people to slow down, live the moment and appreciate the lovely people and nice things around them.

The local cultural and creative brand was founded in April 2021 by two girls from Macao who are passionate about arts, design, and handicrafts. All products, handmade by the founders themselves, feature a combination of retro, innovative, and fantastic elements.

SHEFEELING was founded in 2005. Since its inception, SHEFEELING has been adhering to the craftsmanship spirit of innovation and excellence, as well as the service philosophy of professionalism and thoughtfulness, providing a quality experience of more diverse lifestyles for women with unique temperament. SHEFEELING has innovatively conducted wider dialogues and produced crossover works.

Jump Off represents a new attitude against the established framework. It specialises in accessories for tourism featuring future functionalism, aiming to enable the wearers of its products to travel between different spaces freely by virtue of the innovative and diversified product functions.

No.42 is a local fashion design brand that values “freedom from restraints and life with an attitude”. Its designers believe everyone has “multiple personalities” and that clothes are media in which one’s ideas and feelings can be expressed. A style, whether it is cool, disobedient, elegant, intellectual or mixed, as long as it captures one’s mood, can all be expressed through different outfits.

The design of the brand is one that features asymmetrical tailoring and the use of fabrics of different textures to create interwoven patterns, as well as beautiful details to make styles of all kinds. Different clothing items can match to make a variety of styles that reflect the attitude of liberty. That is how fashion is brought beyond the stage into the daily life of the wearer.

In addition to occasional launches of different collections, No.42 also provides customisation and styling services for customers of all kinds.

Designer：Ophelia Vong and Venus Tou 

Ophelia Vong and Venus Tou majored in Fashion Design and Merchandising at Shih Chien University, Kaohsiung Campus. As college students, they worked for fashion shows as activity assistants in Macao and Taiwan regions,coordinated the design and layout of venues for static exhibitions of graduation works. After their return to Macao, as an extension of their interest in and passion for fashion design, they jointly opened a studio and founded the fashion brand No.42 in 2019.

Common Comma

LOOM é a marca secundária de vestuário feminino da Common Comma e foi criada independentemente por Carmen Leng em 2016. Através da integração de arte tradicional e conceito de inovação, a designer cria vestuário clássico, duradouro e extremamente criativo, assegurando que cada peça o acompanha de estação em estação.

Apesar do vestuário feminino ser a força motriz de LOOM, a marca também lança vestuário infantil, tão elegante como as jovens modernas, de forma a dar resposta às características de colecção e conceitos do design.

“épeler” is a verb in the French phrase “ella épeler”, which is used when referring to an act of linking or joining things together. Adhering to the concept “Bring Your Attitude to Life”, ella épeler combines various elements in unconventional tailoring and integrates original illustrations and artistic ideas into its designs. By doing so, the brand produces fascinating clothing embodying the diversity and uniqueness of fashion, with an aspiration to turn them into treasures in the closet. ella épeler rolls out fashion items by series rather than seasons and makes innovative attempts through the inspiration of different dressing styles.

Designer：Ella Lei

Ella Lei, a post-80s born in Macao, is a graduate from the Design Department, School of Arts, Macao Polytechnic Institute, majoring in multimedia design. She has worked as art and animation designer for four years, while taking a fashion design diploma program. She is currently a freelance designer passionate about illustration and fashion design, hoping to progress by combing these two art form. She is actively participating in exhibitions and fashion events, working on her own fashion label “ella épeler”.

I.N.K was co-founded in 2016 by fashionista Inky Leong and designer Kris Chan from Macao. The brand name created with their initials denotes “ink” and connotes “idea overflow in ink”, that is, translation of inspirations into memorable ink creations. With an emphasis on innovation and cultural diversity, I.N.K develops original, market-oriented series using local cultural elements, including those of art and music to spread the spirit of Macao’s fashion brands.

Brand Operations Director：Inky Leong

Inky Leong was born in Macao and is now a fashion stylist, lecturer and fashion columnist for local culture publication SD Magazine. He founded fashion boutique Inky Store in 2014 in Macao to promote fashion cultures. He has worked in branding, management and retail for some international fashion brands, such as Vivienne Westwood, Burberry and Hermès, and as a host and guest speaker in various activities of Burberry, Dior and local fashion brands. Moreover, he has been an image consultant for artists, TV programs and award ceremonies of Macao and Mainland China; invited to the Fashion Week in London, Paris and Seoul. Leong is also a model in Macao, who engages in local multi-media productions.

Brand Design Director：Kris Chan

A Macao native, Kris Chan graduated from the Department of Fashion Design at College of Design under the Shih Chien University in Taiwan, and has had ten years of work experience in the clothing industry. He has been an artist stylist, designer of women’s and men’s clothing respectively for Taiwan fashion brand Mademoiselle SiSi and GOZO. He also worked as a fashion and product designer for Macau Creations, brand designer for Soda Panda and fashion designer for Gino & Dino of Venetian Macao. Chan first launched “Twinkle, Twinkle”, a junior wear fashion show at the Macao Fashion Festival during the Macao International Trade & Investment Fair in 2011 and establishedNEVERKNOWStudio as his personal design workspace in 2015. He has held 11 illustration activities in Hong Kong and Macao upon the invitation from fashion brand Burberry, and organized joint events in collaboration with a number of brands, including Taiwan’s Wind Salon, FFLives, 25:01, Bangkok’s Thorny Mouse as well as Macao’s E-Spark and Inky Store.
